The background of this page has been altered to make the images more visible, as opposed to the map background found elsewhere. One font is used throughout all images as fonts are part of trademark laws and to create product lines that can be identified as licensed from the Trust itself. We are currently working with the artists to alter the Vaquita to a simpler form. (Done: the older, complex form is immediatey below, the simpler above and to the sides. The complex form could not be easily altered with the color variations, the new can be altered in minutes.) Variants such as those in the right column can be used for various reasons and logos, even to identify staff levels at the trust and at various resorts, and so on. Clothing companies can use the logos by license only and can request variations on color for various purposes. Yes, this is porpoise with a purpose.
Various logos are used for various reasons. Above and below are primary logos for the resort itself. The Vaquita is an ideal animal as a mascot for the resort because no one is using it, it is almost unknown, the Trust will bring it to the light and the Trust Asset Leasholders and marketing companies will have the rights licensed early and the image wil be synonymous with the lagoon and its efforts to save this animal..
It needs to be noted that the actual color is more of a medium gray than the original image below, however, this cannot be seen in many applications. The belly on the image immediately below is more or less the color range on the mammal.

By adding a sun and earth to the image we can create a logo for another division, or advertisement. The first logo is actually black and white, this obviously has color.

This logos is used for the organic products sold on site as well as via the internet. This would include foods raised at the lagoon such as fruits, dried fruits, olives, olive oil, and so on as well as cosmetics, that is soaps, cleaners, and so forth.

Vaquita Clothing is a high end clothing line where some combination of the Vaquita logo is used with or without another element for affect. The image above is a transparent gif file, below is a jpg file, thus the background.

Here we have a jpg file of the Vaquita emblem with a wave form under. This is a gradient of gray to white so it becomes less visible.

The same image with a blue background as it would appear on, say, a blue golf shirt. The image can also be made with the wave flipped horizontally to give more of a parallel feel to the logo, however, this results in more of a sloping affect as the both images are them high on the left and low on the right.

Laguna Sun is a product line of beach wear and oriented more towards a demographic of, say, 15 to 25 year olds.

Mui Salada ("Very Salty") will be the name of a clothing company for young adults with a demographic range between 25 and 45, in the prime earning range and with disposable income, willing to pay for quality and name recognition. Higher end clothing commends a higher premium, and these cloths will be high quality materials, always tending to the most recent fashions of this age group, but fashioned favoring the warmer climate of this region and the lagoon themes.

We will want to sell bottled water which can be used directly from the desalination plant. If we sell this less expensively at the resort and more expensively once it migrates into the retail outside of the resort we can achieve brand recognition as the resort develops. The label can state the source, the fact that geothermal energy is used to create it the compare the purity to other bottled waters. There will be nothing that can compete. This can be franchised outside the area by selling franchise rights to various cities with some source of non-potable water. A major problem spring water people face is that the spring water is exhausted by the success of the company. This isn't true with ocean water. Also these local outlets can become suppliers to other water companies to meet their needs under certain circumstances. A likely scenarios would be water companies in need of water but with established routes buying a franchise and changing their product accordingly, which we will require for brand recognition.

Maquita Digital is the name of the music company. This company will market music at all levels from controlling the local music venues (even free venues) to organizing paid concerts and selling music directly. Music will be handles via a methodology established by the company, however the basics are, someone reviews a performer's music, books them at free sites, see the response, then creates CD's, sell these at free sites along with the free performances, then, if good enough, moves them into paid concerts or venues at pay the performer for their music such as a hotel lobby or restaurant. Music will, in general, be themed to the venue, which helps to set the mood for each site. This is not a site for "cutting edge" music, it is a site for relaxing and fun music.

Marketing is often said to have 4 P's, Product, Pricing, Promotion, and Place (Placement, or distribution point or method). Let's look at Maquata Digital: The products range from free music, to paid live music to digital music. Digital music can be one of several formats, from MP3 or MP4 to .wav and .wma (Windows), .aif, .au, .qt, and .ra or .ram, all of which can be used on the web and sold there as well. It can be distributed through direct sales on site at concerts, in stores, and via the internet, which covers the product and the place of distribution.
Prices needs to be competative for everything all the time.
Promotion of the Maquita Digital is integrated throughout all areas of the development at all levels, then we integrate the process of bringing in and up new talent as well as bring in named entertainment from time to time.
The logo is transparent so whatever background it is on will show through as it does here.
