Welcome to Strident LtdI am Professor Ronald A. Newcomb, San Diego State University, Adjunct Faculty with the College of Sciences. I am the Principal Investigator and Director of Operations for CITI's International Consortium of Advanced Technologies and Security (ICATS) where we analyze and advise on advanced technologies. Strident is a world leader in green, renewable, zero emission geothermal desalination using the device and methodologies developed by a series of engineers over a 10 year period, several of which were tested by SDSU's ICATS. Strident currently holds the rights to the best of these devices for the state of Baja California. The technology is owned by World Wide Assets, which we are a subsidiary of, and will be able to expand our rights to other areas as plans develop. Strident provides the best solution to the world's critical shortage of affordable, clean, potable water from the oceans, aquifers, or other non-potable water sources using green, renewable, zero emission technology through the companies proprietary delta t device (it uses the change in temperatures to evaporate and condense water) which utilizes geothermal energy to enervate the plant and create high volumes of high purity water for sale to municipal water departments. We work with municipalities and governments at various levels to create a system that meets everyone's needs at prices everyone can afford ranging from investor funded plants to revenue bond funding with the cost of water reflecting the source of funds, we will work with you to produce expected outcomes and high volumes of pure water. The world wide need for water is quickly reaching criticality in many locations. Weather patterns seem to be shifting again along historical long term cycles which, unfortunately will impact people all over the globe and in many places, this will impact the availability of traditional water supplies. Unfortunately, in many locations this means burning more fossil fuels to meet the need for water. We can meet that need not only without adding to the carbon footprint of the city, but we can also help sequester CO2 where desirable by returning the gas into the deep earth where it will not return to the surface as high TDS water with various carbon salts. Our current plans include the utilities at the Laguna Salada development, a large project, to say the least. At this location we will provide the power and water needed during the development period and during the operational period of the resort. Laguna Salada has the unique quality of having shallow geothermal resources throughout the area allowing for a zero carbon emission resort area which actually becomes a carbon sink by providing 150 square miles of additional ocean surface area. Please feel free to contact us about your interests and needs. |
